Design 1on1 Tip:

 

The key to a successful appointment is preparation. Here are 3 things to consider as you prepare for your appointment:

 

1. What is the core of your concern? Sometimes what we think is the problem is actually just a symptom of it. It helps to stop and think about what you feel is “not right”.

2. Why is it bothering you? What effect does the current situation have on your mood, function, flow of the space?

3. What outcome do you want to happen?

 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. What does Verified Professional mean?

It is Design 1on1™ ‘s desire to protect the interest of its clients. Verified Professionals, Senior Verified Professionals, and Verified Experts are those who have complied with the following requirements:

  1. Has accomplished Design 1on1™’s Verification Form
  2. Has submitted the following documents for reference:

a. Valid PRC ID

b. Certificate that they are Members in good standing within their respective accredited professional organization

c. Current Professional Tax Receipt

2. Can I select the Professional I would like to set an appointment with?

Yes. You can select who among the Professionals you would like to meet with. Design 1on1™’s platform allows you to view the designer’s profile and learn their various experiences and background so you can decide on which professional best fits your project needs.

3. Where and how do I meet with the Design 1on1™ Verified Professional?

Design 1on1™ uses Zoom that you can access via your internet browser. This flexibility is provided so you can arrange to meet with your selected designer anytime, anywhere. We encourage you to set a quiet place and space that will be conducive to the online consultation.

Please be advised that the session you are in may be monitored or recorded for quality assurance purposes. If you do not wish to be recorded, you are advised not to continue in making an appointment.

4. Can I send messages to the Professional before my appointment?

Yes. Our system allows you to send messages prior to your appointment. Once registered and your booking has been confirmed, you can log into your Design 1on1™ client portal and send images to your designer. They, however, will not be able to communicate with you until the time of the appointment.

5. Can I request for a follow-up appointment?

Yes. Just book another appointment and pick the same Professional. 

6. How are payments made?

We currently accept payments through Paypal. Other payment methods will be made available in the future.

7. Can I cancel an appointment?

Yes. As much as possible we want you to have a positive experience with Design 1on1™ and would like for you to get the most out of each appointment.

  • If you cancel within 12 hours of your booking, the appointment fee shall be refunded back to you within 3 days. Depending on your bank, it may take 5-7 days for the refund to reflect on your account.
  • If you cancel after 12 hours of your booking and within 24 hours of the appointment, the appointment fee will not be refundable.
  • If no cancellation notice is received by Design 1on1™ through your portal and you fail to appear at your appointment time, it will be marked “no show” and there will be no refund given.
8. What if the Professional cancels the appointment?

We advise our Design 1on1™ Verified Designers to avoid canceling their appointments. If the designer cancels his/her appointment, you will receive a 100% refund within 3 days. Depending on your bank, it may take 5-7 days for the refund to reflect on your account.

 

9. Will the Verified Professional see my contact number when sending SMS messages or my other contact details?

Yes. For proper coordination, Design 1on1™ uses a special appointment booking and communication system. Emails and SMS messages will be sent to you using the information you’ve provided.

However, all information supplied by the Client will not be shared with any third-party organization outside of Design 1on1™. Our Professionals are advised not to disclose your information without your written consent.

10. Can I choose not to be seen by the Professional during our consultation?

Yes. You can opt not to be seen by our Design 1on1™ Professional by turning off your camera.

 

11. Can I record the consultation session?

No. Clients/Project Owners may not record a consultation session. Consultation sessions, however, may be monitored or recorded by Design 1on1™ to ensure the quality of services it provides and training purposes. If you do not agree to the above mentioned, please feel free not to proceed with setting an appointment.
